Poker pro Annie Duke and actor Don Cheadle founded an Ant Up For Africa poker tournament, which will take place in this year's WSOP. It'll star in July at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. The money, raised from this tournament is destined to the African victims of Darfur and Sudan.

About a week ago an MS Charity Poker Tournament took place at the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas. This tournament was hosted by Montel Williams this year. This event was for the benefit of the Montel Williams MS Foundation. It took place at the pavilion of the Golden Nugget and it was the first event of a long series. The series of tournaments for the charity are called "The Grand".
